Helped curate Franklin Resident Gallery, host/promote exhibitions, juried proposals for solo and group shows, member of the Franklin Action Committee, volunteered with The New Bohemian Gallery, volunteered with The Rare Bird Studio, grounds security for the building, helped plan large events, set up and tear down of events, started the Blue Kids Gallery which was a pop up gallery for children during our events.

I taught a variety of art subjects and methods to young children and to troubled youth.

A pop up gallery I had started back in Brainerd MN that would showcase aspiring artists in locally owned businesses such as restaurants and tattoo shops. I had recruited artists from the community for the purpose of helping amateur artists build their art resume and experience and to celebrate their success with the help of community leaders. I first started by reaching out to local tattoo artists asking if they were interested in showcasing their art. We acted as a guild as I was able to take the competitive relations between tattoo artists and turn that into something cooperative by joining them together and proving to the fine arts community that tattoo artists were in fact “working artists” and were relevant to cultural evolution regarding the perception of fine art. This project both helped build relationships between business owners and it broke down barriers between the artists that are typically looked down upon in the fine arts community and traditional fine artists.
